In the area of control and in collaboration with L2S, Inria, and several international partners, the work focuses on developing algebraic and symbolic methods for control and automation, particularly by leveraging time-delay systems to design robust controllers. These methods are applied to various model classes, including wave propagation, mechanical vibrations, and growth dynamics. The P3δ software (IPSA/Inria/CNRS) is progressively implementing methods tailored to each class.

Additionally, the MacBioré project, dedicated to the modeling, analysis, and control of microorganism growth in photobioreactors, serves as a multidisciplinary application involving several researchers from the team and their collaborators (LGPM, L2S, Sup’Biotech).

Mathematics is also applied to image processing through optimization approaches, denoising and deconvolution algorithms, and super-resolution of point sources, with applications in radar imaging, radio astronomy, and fluorescence microscopy.
