Karim Trabelsi

IPSA Head of research

Karim Liviu Trabelsi is the Associate Director for Research at IPSA. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Applications from Pierre and Marie Curie University (now Sorbonne University). His early research focused on the modeling of thin structures in nonlinear elasticity and on shape and topological optimization. He is currently interested in parametric approaches to the qualitative analysis of dynamical systems with delays. His mission is to define and implement the school’s scientific research strategy, in collaboration with the Scientific Council. The objective is to foster research excellence in support of multidisciplinary teaching and to promote impactful applications through partnerships that address major societal challenges.
