Who we are

We unite four engineering schools around a single ambition: invent human-centered, planet-positive technologies and bring them to the field.

This national research institute of the IONIS group interconnects diverse technological campuses into one community of researchers, students, artists, makers and entrepreneurs to shape a more ethical advancement of technologies and their integration in society.

From fundamental research to product prototyping, our value chain covers the full path: lab discovery, fab-lab fabrication, technology transfer to industry, and incubation of high-impact startups within a framework of social and environmental public engagement.

Our innovation activities rely on the research laboratories of our schools, working to address contemporary societal challenges. We provide a complete value chain from academic research to product prototyping and technology transfer.

Academic Programs

Our trans-disciplinary master's and doctoral programs focus on learning-by-doing and an experimental approach. We propose a fab-academy program for lifelong learning, skills passport trainings as well as innovation project challenges.

03 Fab Labs

Technological Platforms

Our infrastructure includes Fab Labs equipped with advanced 3D printing, SMD electronics, space composite materials, biotech labs, robotics testbeds, a cross-reality lab and an AI server farm supporting students, researchers and partners alike.
