Academic Programs
Our trans-disciplinary master's and doctoral programs focus on learning-by-doing and an experimental approach. We propose a fab-academy program for lifelong learning, skills passport trainings as well as innovation project challenges.
The IONIS Institute of Technology (I2T) promotes hands‑on learning and innovation through a range of programs hosted within its fablab ecosystem, including project calls and competitions, the Fab Academy training, and community initiatives such as Repair Cafés. These complementary formats offer students from EPITA, IPSA, ESME, and SupBiotech multiple entry points to design, prototype, and experiment collaboratively. Supported by advanced fabrication facilities and technical mentoring, participants develop practical skills in digital manufacturing while engaging in interdisciplinary approaches to real‑world challenges. Beyond technical training, these initiatives foster a shared culture of innovation and responsibility—encouraging creativity, collaboration, and sustainable practices through repair, reuse, and open knowledge. The I2T fablab thus acts as a catalyst for both learning and impactful projects within a collaborative innovation ecosystem.
