At the Repair Café, you can bring in everyday objects that need a little love and attention. Whether it’s a torn backpack strap, a coffee machine that won’t turn on, or a broken phone cable, our team is here to help you troubleshoot, repair, and learn hands-on skills in the process.
🔧 Examples of what you can repair:
- Rewire your desk lamp and learn about basic electronics
- Stitch a ripped jacket using sewing machines
- Replace broken wheels on a suitcase using 3D printed parts
- Fix a slow laptop with basic maintenance techniques
- Discover how to solder a loose headphone jack
No prior experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to learn! Volunteers and Fablab staff will guide you step by step. It’s a great way to save money, reduce waste, and build confidence in DIY repair skills.
