MACBIORE Project
The project "Modeling, Analysis, and Control of Growth in BIOreactors" is an interdisciplinary initiative planned for the period 2018-2023.
The project "Modeling, Analysis, and Control of Growth in BIOreactors" is an interdisciplinary initiative planned for the period 2018-2023. Its overarching goal is to understand, formalize, and develop methods and tools for analyzing and controlling complex dynamics in bioprocesses. The project aims to establish a controlled process for the growth of microorganisms to reach their optimal growth conditions automatically. This initiative, led by the Laboratory of Complex Systems at IPSA (LSCI), collaborates with several institutions. The Bioinformatics Research Laboratory (BIRL) at Sup’Biotech, a biotechnology-focused engineering school within the IONIS Group, is the primary partner, with a framework agreement already in place. The L2S (historical partner of IPSA) is involved in data control and fusion, and other collaborators are showing interest and are likely to join this initiative officially, such as the TIMR team at UTC/ESCOM (methanization) and the Biotechnology Chair at CentraleSupélec (biotransformation and separation techniques).
