Julien Grimaud
Assistant Professor in the CellTechs team
I am an Assistant Professor of Life Sciences at SupBiotech. I completed my undergraduate education in Lyon and Paris. After earning an M.S. degree in Neuroscience from the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan in 2015, I moved to the US to join the “Molecules, Cells, Organisms” PhD program at Harvard University, from which I graduated in 2020. My research focuses on deciphering how the mammalian cortex processes odors. At SupBiotech, I oversee the "Projets 5D", an Undergraduate Research Program in Bioengineering in the Department of Continuing Education. In addition, I coordinate the "Centre pour la Valorisation de la Recherche Étudiante" (Center for the Developement of Student Research), an initiative aimed at promoting and publishing the research done by students in SupBiotech's laboratories.
