At SupBiotech, the "Centre pour la Valorisation de la Recherche Étudiante" (Center for the Development of Student Research) was founded out of a simple observation. Students participate in various predoctoral research programs, in which they often produce new and innovative research. However, the outcome of predoctoral programs usually consists of an end-of-semester scholar report. In other words, the data produced throughout such programs rarely extends beyond the classroom.

As such, the Center for the Development of Student Research is an initiative aimed at promoting, supporting, and publishing research conducted by students in SupBiotech's laboratories. In close contact with the Coordinators and Tutors of the predoctoral research programs at SupBiotech, we identify promising student-led projects. These projects are then offered mentoring and additional resources, with the goal of helping students write, submit, and publish their own (and often very first) research paper.
