Sara Fawaz

Assistant Professor

Sara Fawaz received her engineering diploma from the Lebanese University and her Master’s degree from Ecole Centrale de Lille. She received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at the Université de Lorraine in 2023, conducting her research at the GREEN laboratory (Groupe de Recherche en Énergie Électrique de Nancy) in Nancy, France. Following her Ph.D., she joined the LSEE laboratory (Laboratoire Systèmes Electrotechniques et Environnement) at Université d’Artois in Béthune, France, as a postdoctoral researcher from 2023 to 2024. Since 2024, she has been working as an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering, ESME, in Lille, and as a researcher affiliated with LSEE. Her main research focuses on the insulation of high-temperature motors for electric vehicle applications.
