Jimmy Randrianasoa

Associate Professor

Jimmy Randrianasoa received the M.Sc. and Engineering degrees in Computer Science in 2014 from Université de La Réunion and École supérieure d'ingénieurs Réunion océan Indien (ESIROI). He obtained the Ph.D. in Image Analysis and Processing from Université de Reims-Champagne-Ardenne in 2017. From 2015 to 2018, he held teaching positions at IUT de Reims-Châlons-Charleville and at IUT Robert Schuman (Université de Strasbourg). From 2018 to 2021, he was a Temporary Assistant Professor at Télécom Saint-Étienne. Since 2021, he has been an Assistant Professor at EPITA, within the Image Processing and Pattern Recognition group of the EPITA Research Laboratory (LRE). His research interests include image processing, mathematical morphology, and hierarchical methods for image segmentation, with applications in remote sensing and medical imaging.
