Cecile Vermot

As a sociologist, Cécile Vermot is interested in analyzing biotechnologies in society, taking into account the sociology of gender and emotions. She is currently working on two projects. The first concerns the circulation of human milk and the second organoids. In both cases, emotions are seen as central to understanding these phenomena. She was elected to the board of the RN11 "Sociology of emotions" of the ESA (2024). She is also a member of the GT07 "Emotions and Society" working group of the Association International de Langue Française (2024).
