Andrea Bareggi is an Italian musician and researcher. He obtained a double license in piano performance at Conservatory G. Donizetti of Bergamo in 2006 and Trinity College of Music, London in 2007; after 4 years of postgraduate studies in Ireland and a research doctorate in science at Trinity College Dublin in 2011, he moves to France for studying early music, harpsichord in particular. He obtained a research master in musicology at Université Lumière Lyon 2 in 2012, a diploma in harpsichord in 2014 and a diploma in music composition in 2015 at Conservatory ENMDAD of Villeurbanne. At the moment he teaches system dynamics at ESME, school of engineering and musical acoustics at Conservatory C. Monteverdi of Cremona. He teaches piano and chamber music at pre-academic level and works as piano accompanist and maestro al cembalo. His research includes a new and user-friendly approach to music pedagogy (Blended Learning) by using information technology (these projects are financed by the Erasmus+ program), including Networked Music Performance, Partial PlayBack, Functional Audio Streaming programming. His academic research also includes XVI century harpsichord music in southern Italy, the relationship between minimal music and other forms of art, cinema in particular
