MOBIDEM

MOBile IDEntity for the Masses

MOBIDEM is a French-funded applied research project focused on digital trust, electronic identity, and secure electronic signatures. It supports the implementation of eIDAS-compliant digital identity solutions to enable trusted electronic transactions across Europe.

As part of the 21st call for projects of the "Fond Unique Interministériel" (FUI), the French public authorities support and finance the applied research project MOBIDEM (MOBile IDEntity for the Masses), labeled by "Images & Réseaux et Systematic", and presented by a consortium of five partners in the field of digital trust and security. MOBIDEM aims to provide all citizens with an electronic identity and a qualified electronic signature capability compliant with the new European “eIDAS” regulation (No. 910/2014 – electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions), which establishes the legal framework and lays the foundation for a European market for electronic signatures and electronic identities.

This project is led by ARIADNEXT with EPITA – École de l’Intelligence Informatique, IDEMIA, Université de La Rochelle – L3I, and Oodrive.
